Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
Alison Etter Guzardo, MM, MT-BC received a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Southern Methodist University and completed her clinical internship at San Antonio State Hospital. She received a Master's in Music Therapy from Colorado State University. She has been a Board-Certified Music Therapist since 2011 and has worked at Kerrville State Hospital for over 10 years. She enjoys traveling to conferences inside and outside of the United States to share about her work and reduce the stigma associated with individuals receiving forensic care. Her work on collaborative arts in clinical practice has been published in the Canadian Art Therapy Association Journal and in the book Craft in Art Therapy: Diverse Approaches to the Transformative Power of Craft Materials and Methods.
