Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health:
Hello, my name is Aditi Kulkarni and I am a Girl Scout of Central Maryland. Last year, I had completed a 6 month research project on the impact of music on the brain and how it can help teens with neurological disorders, and have drafted a research paper under this topic after conversing with music therapists and music therapy entrepreneurs, such as the CEO of Medrhythms, Brian Harris, who launched a therapy practice of using technology and music to aid people with neurological disorders such as walking conditions. After my research and studies, I have also noticed that society has not yet taken such long strides to spread the idea of music as therapy although it has been initiated, and I want to assist in launching music therapy beyond its current reaches. I wish to discuss possible ideas to bring music therapy to a greater light. Thank you so much for your time and consideration!

Collaboration Interests:
As an inspired member of the community and an interested student in the effect of music on the brain, I am looking for a project to complete under my Girl Scout Gold Award.
