Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
Alycia Sterenberg Mahon is a doctoral student in the Evaluation, Measurement, and Research program at Western Michigan University with a focus on research design and evaluation. Alycia has experience assisting with two federally funded grants funded by NSF and the U.S. Department of Education. She has skills in strategic planning, quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting, instrument development, and is certified by the What Works Clearinghouse in both Group Design and Single Case Design Standards. With a background in music therapy, her interests include the development of evidence-based practices and how this in turn informs clinical practice as well as policy. She holds a M.M. in music therapy as well as a B.M. in music therapy, and a B.S. in psychology.
