Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
Author of music books and courses, most notably Learn to Play the Native American Style Flute, Musician’s Heart Journey, Musician's Practice Journal, and (soon to be released) Discover the Modes on the Native American style flute. Facilitated community music-making events and played bedside for the ill and dying in the hospital setting as a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP). I've witnessed, again and again, the healing power of music for both the individual and the community. I am also passionate about facilitating transformation through musical pursuits as well as long-hand journaling.

Originally from, NH, got my BS in Journalism at Boston University in Boston MA in 1987. I live in Arizona and visits New England regularly.

Credentials include:
• Certified Music Practitioner since 2016 through Music For Healing and Transition Program
• Certified teacher of Music for People's Musicianship and Leadership Program
• Actively teaching Native American style flute online
• Faculty teacher of Module 3 for Music For Healing and Transition Program

My life’s purpose is to teach people to play the music they love as a rewarding personal hobby, offering a tool for self-expression and personal development.
Collaboration Interests: 
Facilitating simple community music-making methods to enhance quality of life for seniors (especially with dementia) in hospitals or other facilities who feel isolated and without purpose.
