Beth Collier, MBA, LPMT, MT-BC’s career includes extensive experience in the hospital and healthcare industry as a board-certified music therapist, clinician-researcher, and hospital program supervisor. Her music therapy services have primarily addressed neurological needs and coping skills in both pediatric and geriatric clients. She has provided music therapy interventions per protocol for multiple RCTs. One study examined the effectiveness of music therapy to support pain management and anxiety in ventilated and sedated children. Another study investigated how music therapy supports symptom management and coping skills in pediatric oncology patients. Beth delivered QA protocol monitoring for session interventions of a multi-site music therapy study. She currently provides music therapy services to three skilled nursing and rehab facilities. She is also a research coordinator at a National Institute on Aging Alzheimer's Disease Research Center in Atlanta, GA.
