Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
Blythe LaGasse is coordinator and professor of music therapy at Colorado State University. Her research is focused on understanding the impact of music therapy for cognitive and social outcomes in children on the autism spectrum. She is also faculty in the interdisciplinary Brainwaves Research Lab, where she uses electroencephalography (EEG) to study the neurophysiological mechanisms that underlie cognitive and motor behaviors in children with different abilities.
