Claire is the main project manager and board-certified music therapist for an NIH-funded R01 clinical trial led by Dr. Sheri Robb. The current trial investigates the biomarkers of action of an active music engagement intervention for children with cancer and their caregivers. Claire’s graduate research was published in the Fall issue of Music Therapy Perspectives in 2021, title: Music Therapists as Clients: Therapy-Seeking and Utilization of Personal Therapy by Music Therapists.
Claire earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music in Music Therapy from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.
