Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health:
I am a neuroscientist at University College Dublin interested in Music Science applied to brain disorders, particularly investigating how music can improve cognition and its interface with emotion. The UCD Music and Math Cognition, led by me, has carried out experiments and surveys related to music and well-being during COVID-19, music performance anxiety, mathematics anxiety, and interventions for children with a mathematical learning disorder.
Collaboration Interests:
I would be interested to collaborate in multi-site studies in Music Science. Particularly in topics such as music and well-being, music performance anxiety, music and learning, and music and cognition. My research is focused on Sustainable Development Goals SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG4 (Quality Education).
