Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health:
I am a music therapy student at University of the Pacific (equivalency + master's program, thesis track) headed into my clinical internship at Houston Methodist Hospital. I have a professional background in arts and non-profit administration. My research interests lie in seeking to understand how clients/patients feel about singing in the music therapy context so that we can effectively use singing for its myriad health benefits while knowing more about its occasional contraindications.
