Jamie McLean

I am a Board Certified Music Therapist with nine years of experience using music therapy to assist mindfulness, emotional management, intrapersonal skills and relapse prevention for people in the early stages of recovery from Chemical Dependency. I completed my Bachelors of Music Therapy at Maryhurst University and my Internship at Earth Tones Music Therapy, where I was fortunate to provide Music Therapy for people of all ages, with a variety of diagnoses. I opened my private practice, Accent Music Therapy in 2020. I consider myself to be Humanistic and client centered. I love learning and am constantly inspired by the human brain and the way that music making and listening helps people of all ages to breathe, center, and engage in a dance with life's most challenging aspects.
