Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health:
Jo currently works in graphic design in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University (ASU) while she completes her degree in Music Therapy from the Herberger School (also at ASU).
She holds a Bachelor's of Science in Graphic Design and has used her skills to illustrate multiple books and instruction sets, as well as layout and publishing. More recently, she has worked in website development for both ASU and professional musicians seeking online representation. She also composes and compiles audio files and does video editing.
She is in love with the creative process, creative forms of teaching, and technology. She ultimately seeks to support and build stronger communities through art and music. Her larger plan is to work with incarcerated woman to empower them to re-enter their communities as stronger people.
