Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
Dr. Kat Agres is an Assistant Professor at the YST Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore. Her background is in the cognitive science of music and cello performance. In addition to teaching and public speaking engagements, she spearheads Music Cognition as well as Music & Health research at the Conservatory. She is working to establish SE Asia's first Center for Music & Health, and is driving forward a number of music-based initiatives for healthcare, such as a music Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) system to support emotion self-regulation in listeners.
