Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health:
I have been a board-certified music therapist for over thirty years. I am currently a full-time music therapy educator at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. My primary areas of clinical interest and experience are with individuals with complex neurodevelopmental disorders, Alzheimer's disease/dementia, and those impacted by stroke or traumatic brain injury. I am also very interested in interprofessional collaboration. My current clinical work and research focuses on speech-language and music therapy collaborative treatment for individuals with chronic aphasia and apraxia due to stroke as well as interprofessional clinical training.
