Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health:
Music and singing have been part of my life since infancy. So has the creative arts. My experiences in both have helped me to reach out to the public through education, the medical arts, and creative thinking.
I have encountered patients who are very interested, as well as gifted, in vocalization, despite affliction from global Aphasia, and psychological effects from trauma. Music allows me to work with Special needs children in schools, and adults in nursing and rehabilitation facilities. These
experiences make me feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to meet with and learn more about what makes people happy during daily activities. I continue to provide music and creative arts for all children and adults.
Collaboration Interests:
Speech therapy, recreational activities, the creative arts, and music therapy services are a winning combination in my professional life as a therapist and cognitive practitioner. My education and expertise has allowed me to help people with PTSD, depression, TBI, Asperger's, Autism, CP, and especially head shaken and brain injured children in private facilities.
