Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
I am a tenured professor of environmental medicine and public health working with communities in New York City and globally on health disparities. My background is Puerto Rican and I use traditional music and dance from Puerto Rico to reach communities of color and to train students in the practice of leadership.
Collaboration Interests: 
Interested in the use of traditional Afro-Caribbean structures for community engagement in science and medicine, especially in increasing knowledge of environmental health and climate change.
