Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
Mark Ferdig joined CCA as the Vice President of Programs in February 2020. The Vice President of Programs is a catalytic role, ensuring strategic, high quality program design, innovation and implementation. As VP of Programs, Mark leads all CCA program delivery teams, oversees growth of MyMusicRx digital and bedside programs across all markets, provides oversight to CCA’s clinical research partnerships and strategies and serves as CCA’s most vocal and visible ambassador for Joy-based programs.

Mark comes to CCA after 25 years in the international relief and development sector where he focused on establishing the standards for quality program implementation for a portfolio valued at over $400 million. Mark brings strong collaborative executive leadership, strategic change management experience, and innovative complex problem solving to CCA. His most recent role as Vice President of Program Performance & Quality provides additional expertise related to expanding and scaling high quality programs, as CCA strives to scale its programs nationally, starting in Austin, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts.
