Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health:
I have been a professional composer and music producer since the early '90s, I was a Music Producer for Sony Playstation for 10+ years, and I have been teaching music composition and computer science at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music since 2015. In 2017 I received a certificate in Sound, Voice, and Music in the Healing Arts from The California Institute of Integral Studies. I integrate many of the healing principles from this program into my professional, creative, and spiritual practices. I also produce, record, and perform tonal meditation sessions that integrate breathwork, toning, deep listening, and a compositional sound bath using acoustic instruments. I created a sound healing app called Tone Pool that can be downloaded for free at www.uval.com.
Collaboration Interests:
I'm interested in collaborating with people who are working on sound and music technology for wellness. I can design and produce the sound, music, and related materials that would be needed for clinical trials. I'm also interested in developing more apps and products that use sound and music to improve people's lives.
