Maya Singh

I am a musician and a music producer and graduating with a BS in psychology from University of Houston in May 2024. My interest is at the intersection of music, science and therapy. During the past three years as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Houston and the Humana Institute, I acquired skills in qualitative and quantitative research, spanning many facets of healthcare delivery and medicine. As an active member of Houston’s music community, I have gained extensive experience organizing, promoting, and participating in local shows and music releases. Through my experiences, I have seen firsthand the power of music as a therapeutic experience.
