Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
I am a certified music practitioner (therapeutic musician) and a 2018 graduate from the Music for Healing Transition Program. I have been a volunteer music practitioner that was attached to the Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care team and then the Spiritual Care Department at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. More recently, I was awarded a three-year grant from the CMS Civil Monetary Penalty Fund Reinvestment Program to provide therapeutic music for skilled nursing patients in two facilities in Topeka. In my previous life, I was a research scientist for 34 years and hold a Ph.D. Environmental Health Science from the University of Kansas.
