Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
I am currently a PhD student in Music Education with an interest in research on music and well-being. I recently completed a 22 credit graduate certificate in Music for Well-Being at George Mason University. I currently direct the Healing Arts Ensemble at George Mason, teach undergraduate music classes, and will be teaching coursework in Music and Well-Being in Spring 2024. My current research study is focused on exploring well-being in Choral Music Teachers within the public school system. I have also completed 3 levels of Healing Touch. I practice both sound healing and energy healing work with various clients throughout the Washington DC area. I spent over 20 years the public school system as a Choral director, previous to my doctoral studies. I am a professional musician, healing practitioner, researcher, and educator.
