Sarah Hennessy is a postdoctoral research scientist at University of Arizona, working with Jessica Andrews-Hanna and Matt Grilli on projects related to the aging brain and autobiographical memory. She completed her PhD in 2024 with Assal Habibi at the University of Southern California's Brain and Creativity Institute. Her research focuses on the neural and behavioral correlates of autobiographical memory and nostalgia as evoked by music across the lifespan, with a special interest in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias.
Collaboration Interests:
Sarah is interested in collaborating with other investigators with interests in music-evoked emotions and memory in aging and diseases of aging, using both behavioral and neuroimaging methods.
