Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
As Associate Dean for Innovation in the Arts and Health, Sarah Hoover draws from a background in performance, tertiary music instruction, arts leadership, and community engagement to advance initiatives that link the performing arts and health within the Peabody Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and entities within Baltimore. She leads a transdisciplinary team who support musicians and dancers in developing healthy and sustainable practices through research, education, experiential learning, workforce development, and advocacy, collectively advancing health in and through the arts and exploring the power of the arts to elevate the human experience. She earned a B.A. from Yale University and D.M.A from the Peabody Institute and holds certificates in Arts in Medicine and Performing Arts Medicine.She is the author of Music as Care: Artistry in the Hospital Environment.
