Sound Health: Deepening Discovery of Music's Impact on Health & Wellness

The Sound Health Network is excited to partner with The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation in a webinar highlighting music therapy and community-based applications of music to promote health and well-being across the lifespan. Our goal is to raise awareness, inspire conversations, and grow partnerships among philanthropic organizations. Areas of focus will include music therapy, its historical origins, and clinical services with a specific focus on how music therapy benefits children with autism, veterans, and older adults with dementia and community music-making and its benefits for health and wellbeing, with a specific focus on the benefits of singing in community choirs to reduce loneliness and increase interest in life for older adults.
