Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
Stephanie H. Morris, MM, MT-BC and Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow completed her Masters of Music in Music Therapy at Ohio University in August 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. in 1982. She is married to Matthew B. Morris, Instructor of Bassoon and Theory at Ohio University and is the mother of two boys, Blane and Thomas (Kate). She also has an Ohio Teacher's Certification and is the founder and director of Athens County Community Singers, "a choir for all voices." This non-profit organization serves those with and without disabilities and supports a transitional choir called the Beacon Singers at Beacon School, an educational program supported by the Athens County Board of Developmental Disabilities and the Ohio State Board of Education.
Collaboration Interests: 
As the Internship Director for Central Ohio Music Therapy LLC and founder/director of Athens County Community Singers and Beacon Singers, I am most interested in topics concerning working with individuals with special needs and supporting the training of new music therapists.
