Thedia Samara, Ph.D. is a creative entrepreneur, multipotentialite and interdisciplinary artist: singer/songwriter, producer, playwright, screenwriter, award-winning poet, writer and publisher. Dr. Samara's educational background includes graduating magna cum laude with degrees in Business Management, Organizational Leadership and Ph.D. in Music with a concentration in Music Education/Pedagogy. Dr. Samara's current field of research involves creativity and neuroarts, through the Aspen Institute and Johns Hopkins International Arts + Mind Lab Center for Applied Neuroaesthetics, and how they can both be harnessed to use in areas within and outside of the creative arts sector such as health and wellness. Dr. Samara is an investor and CEO of businesses with foundations in the arts and culture and education.
Collaboration Interests: 
Interdisciplinary initiatives involving music, health, the arts and entertainment; music for emotion regulation; music to support mental health; music interventions for the elderly; music interventions for children, participatory music programs to support artists and students, creative entrepreneurship and neuroarts.
