Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health: 
Theresa Allison is a board certified MD geriatrician and family physician, and a PhD ethnomusicologist. She studies the intersections of musicking, quality of life and relationships in the context of aging. Her prior studies include a longitudinal ethnographic study of music and community in a nursing home and a cross-sectional qualitative study of music and quality of life in dementia caregiving relationships in the home setting. She is currently engaged in an ethnographic study of the potential for music to improve quality of life in dementia caregiving relationships over time.
Collaboration Interests: 
I am interested in collaborating, particularly with multi-sited qualitative or mixed-methods projects.
