The Ruth Asawa School of the Arts is a public arts high school. The music department features ensembles and courses in Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Choir, Piano, Chamber music, Taiko, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, Steel Pans, Music Theory, Songwriting, Electronic Music and more. My background is playing double bass and orchestral conducting, and I teach orchestra and first year musicianship.

I'm interested in providing my students access to relevant research as a tool and inspiration for personal musical growth.
