Melinda has over 55 years of experience in complimentary healing modalities. She trained in Therapeutic Touch with its founders, Dolores Krieger and Dora Kunz, and created the trans-personal process of Unitative Listening for the Music for Healing & Transition Program (MHTP) in 2002.
She worked as an RN and Certified Music Practitioner(CMP) at Camphill Village, Copake, NY for twenty years as part of an innovative integrative medical practice grounded in Anthroposophical medicine.
Joining the MHTP Board of Directors in 1998, she was President of the Board and then Executive Director from 2004 to 2017.
Melinda was a founder of the National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians and a Board member until 2017.

I am particularly interested in fostering collaboration among clinical musicians, educating healthcare workers about the power of music and intergrating music into healthcare facilities as a standard of care.
