Short biography and a description of your interest(s) in music and health:
I am an entrepreneur and PI (NIH, NSF, Department of Education) working to empower every kid in the world through music. My startup's primary product, MusiQuest, represents a radically affordable and scalable approach to supporting musical learning and creativity. MusiQuest has demonstrated statistically significant learning results in three successive research studies in schools without music programs, including a 500 student randomized control trial in spring 2024 (WestEd, 2024).
Collaboration Interests:
We are excited to explore if MusiQuest might help democratize access to introductory music therapy, and to intentionally expand our platform into the wide range of connections between music and health / healthy development for kids. We believe MusiQuest's pioneering music-making and music-experience technical components provide a robust foundation for a future "MusiQuest Health" module or product– ideally developed in partnership with a range of music and health experts.
