Webinar:

Applying for research support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) or the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) can seem complicated and confusing if you’re new to working with those agencies. Even if you’re an experienced applicant, it can be difficult to track grant application policies, procedures, and announcements, and to know whom to contact for important guidance and information. We invited the music and health research community to join us for this webinar, co-hosted by the NEA and NIH, to learn how two federal funders in this shared space support research, and where to find tools and resources for submitting a competitive application. A one-hour presentation from NEA and NIH staff was followed by a half-hour panel Q&A. By the end of this webinar, attendee understood the various funding opportunities available at NIH and NEA, and how to get started on the application process.
